Welcome to one of Prince Edward Island's newest and most Luxurious waterfront vacation homes. Newly constructed in winter 2005, the Northern Lantern is located on beautiful Sunset Crescent in West Covehead. Situated on over 1 acre of land overlooking Brackley Bay, the Property offers a commanding view of the spectacular sand dunes in PEI's National Park.
Designed with only the Vacationer in mind, the beach house's 2400 sq. feet offer everything needed to make your vacation a truly unforgettable experience. Mixing together a Cape Cod style beach house with a timber post and beam house we've come up with a unique home that's as functional as it is beautiful. Whether it's a couple looking for a romantic escape, several families vacationing together or even having the whole family crew gather for that summer reunion, this house has it all. Entering the front door you're first greeted by 50 feet of window overlooking the water, then a quick glance upwards reveals a soaring lodge style twenty-five foot pine ceiling supported by timber beamed construction. Whether you choose to gather in front of a fire sharing stories, to watch a movie in the den, share some tranquil moments on either of the 2 private bedroom balconies, or gather for a heavenly feast in the beautifully designed kitchen, you'll think we thought of everything.
As always the best part of an Island vacation is getting out experiencing the Island itself. (Check out the PEI visitors guide) We'd like to think of our location as ideal. Very centrally located we're only 5 min from the famous Brackley beach, 5 min from Stanhope which includes Stanhope Golf and Country Club and also Stanhope beach. We're also only 20 minutes to Cavendish, and 15 minutes to the capital city Charlottetown. The Island is right at our doorstep, so come and enjoy it at the Northern Lantern beach house on Sunset Crescent.
